COCA-COLA

Digitizing the People Experience improved overall Organizational Performance

The Coca-Cola Company is a global beverage corporation incorporated under Delaware's General Corporation Law and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. The Coca-Cola Company has interests in the manufacturing, retailing, and marketing of beverages, concentrates and syrups.

The Coca-Cola Company Company has in excess of 86,000 employees worldwide and produces over $37 Billion USD in annual revenue.

Until recently, Coca-Cola had handled SAP Talent Acquisition in house, but it realized there was untapped potential to find good SAP Professionals. “We didn’t feel that we were tapping into all possible sources of SAP Talent and whilst we were doing well in capturing people who were actively looking for jobs, we weren’t finding SAP Professionals who were not happy in their existing position,” says Kristin Painter, Talent Acquisition Partner at Coca-Cola. “We wanted to do more on the advanced side of SAP Talent, given our move to SAP Cloud Technologies such as SuccessFactors.”

Solution

To improve how it found and recruited the best SAP Talent, Coca-Cola turned to SAPDAY, who provided consultants working both on site at Coca-Cola offices and remotely. Having this presence enables SAPDAY to fully handle Coca-Cola's SAP recruitment initiative, at a comparable cost to having an in house SAP recruitment team and gives Coca-Cola access to SAPDAY’s expertise and contacts in SAP staffing. “We had an established relationship where SAPDAY had recruited people for us over time”, says Painter. “We knew they specialized in only SAP, so that made them a natural choice, we didn’t look elsewhere.”

The on site and remote consultants from SAPDAY works with Coca-Cola’s SAP Talent Acquisition Teams to understand what demand is coming into the Coca-Cola's SAP Projects and Initiatives pipeline and hence what types of people are needed. SAPDAY also works with specific Coca-Cola managers to define the precise job specification, salary expectations, skills and competency requirements. Once the role is defined, SAPDAY’s consultants handle advertising, the initial filtering of candidates, arranging first and second interviews and onboarding.

Benefits

“SAPDAY have delivered outstanding SAP experts, I don’t think we would have found through conventional job advertisements”, says Painter. SAPDAY are highly responsive, efficient and always look for ways for Coca-Cola to enhance our SAP investment.
